In this 1.5-hour after-school art workshop, children will explore printmaking techniques inspired by the work of Paul Klee, with a focus on pattern, repetition, and playful mark-making. Through guided activities, students will create and print their own designs, experimenting with repeated shapes, lines, and colour to build layered and rhythmic compositions.
The session encourages creative exploration, visual thinking, and confidence while developing foundational printmaking and design skills. Activities will be adapted to suit different primary age groups, with an emphasis on process, experimentation, and enjoyment. All materials are provided, and children will take home a series of printed artworks at the end of the session.
LOCATION: 315 Shell Road, Marcus Hill.
*Please follow the drive way about 100 metres and then turn left at the sign*
The workshop will take place in a very special creative space located on a private property. The studio sits amongst beautiful, established gardens that are part of a thriving, privately run vegetable garden. This unique setting provides a calm and inspiring environment for creativity and learning.
As this is a private property, the gardens themselves are not accessible during the workshop, and we kindly ask all participants to show care and respect for this special place. Children will be supervised at all times within the designated workshop area, and we ask families to support us in maintaining the integrity and privacy of the property.
We are incredibly grateful to be able to use this space and appreciate your understanding in helping us treat it with the respect it deserves.
